How Tekni Live Web Based Training Works...

Why Web Based Training?
When we first offered training for Autodesk products in the mid-1980's, it was accomplished in a traditional classroom setting, with a typical class session lasting about 4 hours, once a week. This training method was most effective, because it gave students a week to practice and perfect the subjects covered in the class. Today, classes are scheduled for 3-5 contiguous days due to scheduling and travel considerations for students and instructors alike. Most companies today cannot afford to have employees out for 3 to 5 days at one time. Web training gives us the benefits of effective training without the hassle.

How Does it work?
Live web training uses advanced technology to deliver quality training over the internet. The experience is equal to sitting in a classroom with the following advantages:

  • Full live Audio and Video presentations are recorded for playback, just in case you miss a session.
  • Instructor can share his system with a student. Students can share their screen and allow instructor control of problem issues.
  • 3 to 6 hour sessions ( Skill Builders - 1 hour sessions), scheduled once or twice a week to allow practice and completion of assignments
  • Students may ask questions at any time with headsets or through the imbedded chat window.
  • Students may also converse with the instructor through our exclusive bi-directional voice over IP, using a pc- headset.
  • Time is allotted during each session for question and answer sessions at regular intervals
  • You may show the instructor any issues you may be having.
  • Certified courseware is provided to each student.
  • Workbook pages and tutorial files may be downloaded for each class session.
  • Assignment pages and exercises are completed and returned to us for grading and consultation.
